my unjustifibly lucky friend in Wichita Sara saw George Strait this weekend. I did not. Not cool. Evidently King George's performance is a bit wooden. What are you gonna do? He's like 60.
I did however go to see the Bad Directions this weekend at the Walnut Room. The WR has keenly booked a bunch of good country/americana acts over the next dos semanas, concurrent to the Stock Show in town. Whisky Trip and 3 miles west and friends all next week.
Did i tell you I got a Rockmount Ranchwear cowboy shirt for my birthday? I wont say who from, but they think im huge.Those of you who know the stuntman know I wear my shirts Burt-Reynolds-style: nice and tight, plenty of chest hair showing. I am heading back there to try on a different size because the color matches my new guitar (named George also). I may or may not go to the feed store for a new hat too
